iGenius CEO, Uljan Sharka, spoke on a panel on the current and future regulatory framework for artificial intelligence at DLA Piper’s European Technology Summit yesterday.
Moderated by Giulio Coraggio, Partner at DLA Piper, the panel discussed possible scenarios for the regulation of AI-related technologies: a globally enforced code of ethics versus more robust, fit-for-purpose legislation.
Sharka spoke alongside Luisella Giani, EMEA Industry Transformation Director at Oracle, Ed Thomas, Principal Analyst, technology thematic research, at Global Data Plc, and Alessandro Mantelero, Associate Professor at Polytechnic University of Turin.
The 2019 Summit was the fourth annual edition of the event organized by DLA Piper, and attracted over 350 senior executives from across Europe.
