Recognized for its AI-enabled virtual advisor, crystal, in AI Core Technologies
iGenius has been recognized a 2021 Gartner Cool Vendor in AI Core Technologies for the company’s AI-enabled virtual advisor — crystal. The advisor expands the ability to access and consult business data, and make decisions based on it, beyond analysts and data teams. crystal requires no data literacy skills or in-depth training, and uses natural language processing to give users clear, easy to-understand-answers that allow for more insightful business decisions.
For the 2021 Cool Vendors in AI Core Technologies, Gartner researched on Composite AI, Deep Learning, AI for Good, Data for AI and AI Orchestration.
“We set out to create a solution as easy-to-use in business as Siri or other virtual assistants are to use in your personal lives, and we believe being recognized as a Cool Vendor further solidifies our success in doing so with crystal,” said Uljan Sharka, CEO and Founder, iGenius. “Making data more accessible opens the door for better, faster decision making — a need that has accelerated since the start of the pandemic. It is our job as innovators to ensure that the vast amounts of business data is being put to good use.”
Gartner determines its Cool Vendors based on three key attributes. The vendor must be:
Innovative — the vendor has developed technologies/products that enable users to do things they couldn’t do before. crystal has removed the traditional barriers to AI configuration. The platform’s self-service console enables users to connect and integrate their business data sources, as well as train and tailor crystal’s functions to an organization’s needs without needing a dedicated developer.
Impactful — the vendor offers technologies or products that have or will have business impact—it’s not just “technology for the sake of technology”. crystal makes the right data accessible to those who need it in an organization. She provides users with answers customized to their questions, allowing for more data-driven decisions.
Intriguing — the vendor has caught Gartner’s interest during the past twelve months. iGenius has previously been included in Gartner’s “Emerging Technologies and Trends Impact Radar 2021” and “2020 Hype Cycle for Analytics and Business Intelligence” reports.
